关于客户
Stardoll is a Swedish online community for girls who love fashion, making friends, shopping, and being creative. Founded in 2005 by Liisa Wrang, the platform has grown to become one of the largest online communities for girls, with over 206 million users worldwide. The platform allows users to dress up dolls using a range of tools, participate in interactive activities, and take part in educational games aimed at improving quick thinking. Stardoll members can also create clubs, in which they communicate with other members. The company's rapid growth and global user base have resulted in a wealth of data about user behaviors and preferences, which Stardoll uses to adapt its services, target new audiences and geographies, and increase revenues.
挑战
Stardoll, a Swedish online community for girls who love fashion, faced a significant challenge with data management as its user base grew. The company had a wealth of data about its users, their preferences, and their behaviors, but extracting meaningful insights from this data was a slow and labor-intensive process. Traditional reporting methods, such as spreadsheets or HTML tables, took up to three days to produce and were often outdated by the time they reached the decision-makers. This delay in data reporting hindered the company's ability to make accurate and timely decisions, adapt its services, target new audiences, and increase revenues.
解决方案
Stardoll implemented Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server across the organization to deliver self-service visual business intelligence. This solution enabled the company to consolidate data from multiple sources into a single application and explore the associations in the data. Tableau's interactive visualizations and drill-down reports allowed Stardoll to quickly and easily understand their data. The mapping feature of Tableau was particularly useful for Stardoll, as it operates in 28 languages and needed to visualize trends and situations in different regions. With Tableau, reports that previously took days to produce were now available within the hour, providing real-time insights for decision-making.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
