The deployment of Zscaler at Telefónica led to significant operational improvements. With Zscaler's global footprint, Telefónica was able to overcome the challenges of poor cross-country connectivity in Latin America and expensive operational costs for direct data centers. The company could now serve each of the markets it needed, including Asia, ensuring that its customers were covered no matter where they traveled. Furthermore, Zscaler's flexible analytics and reporting were a great asset to Telefónica and their customers, eliminating the need for the company to build custom reports for each customer. Finally, by leveraging the Zscaler cloud, Telefónica was able to consolidate activity and logs across geographies for their customers, a task that would have been impossible with the traditional model of deploying appliances and consolidating reporting across disparate systems across borders.
