关于客户
Traveltainment is a leading IT service provider in the leisure travel market. The company has been offering customers a searchable database of travel offers since 2000. With over 380 global employees in six different branches, Traveltainment provides services to travel portals offering price comparison, hotel reviews and booking capabilities for leisure travel. In addition, Traveltainment offers a software product for travel agencies to provide the same booking features used in over 12,000 locations. In 2011, Traveltainment gained a market share of over 90% in the area of leisure travel and continues to grow every day. The company conducts all of its business over the Internet, making it dependent on full operational and continuous availability to its customers.
挑战
Traveltainment, a leading IT service provider in the leisure travel market, relies heavily on its online database for business operations. The company's peak hours are early evening until midnight and from early afternoon until midnight on the weekend. During these times, they can have between 120,000,000 and 150,000,000 impressions per day and 250,000 concurrent connections with up to 8,000 new connections per second. Due to their large market penetration and well-known customers, they are constantly being targeted for intrusion attempts. Since Traveltainment provides booking facilities for its customers and handles cardholder data; intrusion prevention, maintenance of data integrity, and protection against injections and zero-day vulnerabilities is imperative to the company’s success. Any type of attack would lead to profit loss, customer dissatisfaction, and damage to the company’s image. It has been calculated that one hour of downtime for Traveltainment can lead to 180,000 Euros lost. Furthermore, by operating two separate data centers in different locations, incoming traffic reaches the data centers from 5 different Internet uplinks and causes strain to their customers service availability.
解决方案
Traveltainment deployed several Radware products to protect two data centers and Apache web servers. Radware’s DefensePro provided intrusion detection, prevention and attack mitigation services which allowed customers to safely enter financial credentials and ultimately book travel online. Improved application delivery and Layer 4 and 7 load balancing were achieved with Radware’s Alteon NG and Alteon ADC-VX. This afforded Traveltainment customers the opportunity to quickly search hotels, read reviews and compare prices with minimal to no service interruption even during peak hours. In addition, Radware’s Inflight allowed Traveltainment to manage consolidated web logging. Furthermore, Traveltainment also received the support of Radwares Emergency Response Team (ERT) which offers 24 X7 security services for denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or malware outbreaks.

Jaguar Land Rover Speeds Order-to-Cash Cycle
At Jaguar Land Rover, vehicles physically move around the facility for testing, configuration setting, rework and rectification, leading to a longer search time to get each vehicle to its next process facility. The main goal is to minimize the vehicles' dwell time between end of line and the delivery chain which was previously a manually intensive process. Jaguar Land Rover's goal was to build on the success of an earlier RFID project and improve the efficiency of delivering vehicles to meet dealer orders.

Securing the Connected Car Ecosystem
In-vehicle communications and entertainment system hosts high-value or sensitive applications. API libraries facilitate communication and sharing of vehicle data. These API libraries are vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering attacks and may even result in loss of passenger safety. Attackers can inject malware that may be able to migrate to other in-car networks such as the controller-area-network (CAN) bus which links to the vehicle’s critical systems. Software provided for dealers to interface with cars through the OBD2 port is vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering attacks. Hackers may be able to abuse these tools to inject malicious code into the ECUs and CAN bus. Attackers can lift the cryptographic keys used, and use that to build their own rogue apps/software. Their cloned version of the original app/software may have altered functionality, and may intend to gain access to other in-car networks.
