关于客户
ComputerVault Inc. is a technology company based in Marlborough, Massachusetts. They sell their virtual desktop software worldwide. The software was developed over 10 years to deliver hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions. The company's software license includes on-site solution deployment and ongoing software administration performed by the company's network operations center. They recently entered an OEM partnership with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to access tier-one hardware, global proactive support, and an extensive channel partner network for the ComputerVault Hyper-converged Infrastructure and Virtual Desktop solution.
挑战
The need for remote working solutions has grown due to COVID-19. ComputerVault, a company that offers an easy-to-use, virtual desktop with built-in cybersecurity, sought to help enterprises enable their employees to work remotely. However, they needed a tier-one hardware supplier to host their Hyper-converged Infrastructure enterprise software. They also needed to ensure that their solution could exceed all performance and uptime benchmarks, and mitigate cybersecurity threats to company data and networks. Furthermore, they wanted to enable deployment at the customer site or colocation facility.
解决方案
ComputerVault entered an HPE OEM partnership in April 2021 to use a tier-one hardware supplier. This gave them access to HPE's supply, logistics, and channel partner networks, helping them deliver solutions across the globe. They certified the 1U HPE ProLiant server platform to host the ComputerVault Hyper-converged Infrastructure enterprise software. The HPE ProLiant server exceeded all performance and uptime benchmarks. ComputerVault's software license includes on-site solution deployment and ongoing software administration performed by the company's network operations center. The HPE hardware comes with HPE Pointnext Tech Care, providing peace of mind for customers.

Porsche Announces Augmented Reality at Scale, Powered by Atheer
The usual practice for car repairs at a Porsche car dealership is to have a factory representative or regional engineer visit to help diagnose the problem, and sometimes a faulty assembly is shipped back to company HQ for damage analysis. All that costs time and money for customers and dealers alike.

Securing the Connected Car Ecosystem
In-vehicle communications and entertainment system hosts high-value or sensitive applications. API libraries facilitate communication and sharing of vehicle data. These API libraries are vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering attacks and may even result in loss of passenger safety. Attackers can inject malware that may be able to migrate to other in-car networks such as the controller-area-network (CAN) bus which links to the vehicle’s critical systems. Software provided for dealers to interface with cars through the OBD2 port is vulnerable to reverse engineering and tampering attacks. Hackers may be able to abuse these tools to inject malicious code into the ECUs and CAN bus. Attackers can lift the cryptographic keys used, and use that to build their own rogue apps/software. Their cloned version of the original app/software may have altered functionality, and may intend to gain access to other in-car networks.
