They use their customers’ trailers and serve the entire Western Region, including California, Arizona, and Nevada. The company has an impressive 13-year, 99 percent on-time delivery rate. They have a fleet size of 60 and their business runs on timely pickups and deliveries. The company was using a fleet management system that was unreliable and expensive, causing issues for their business. They decided to switch to KeepTruckin after trialing it and Samsara.
挑战
Conner Logistics, a family-owned, power-only logistics company, was facing issues with their first fleet management system. The system was unreliable, expensive, and difficult to use. There were gaps in vehicle history, vehicles would disappear off the map, or the system would suddenly shut off. These issues were causing problems for the business, putting their reputation at risk due to delays in pickups and deliveries. The installation of the system was also a huge undertaking, requiring the entire dash in their trucks to be torn apart. The company began researching other fleet management solutions and decided to trial KeepTruckin and Samsara.
解决方案
After trialing both KeepTruckin and Samsara, Conner Logistics decided to switch to KeepTruckin as it was better suited to their needs. The drivers found KeepTruckin easier to use and the fleet managers experienced no connection cutouts with KeepTruckin, unlike with Samsara. The company installed the Smart Dashcam in a number of their trucks and saw an immediate return on investment. The Smart Dashcam provided video footage that helped in exonerating their drivers in two separate incidents. The GPS tracking feature of KeepTruckin also proved the exact speed of their vehicles during incidents.

Transformation for IoT Business Model in Connected Industrial Vehicles
CNH Industrial wanted to put IoT-enabled viechles onto the market. Whether monitoring a single machine or integrating an entire fleet, operators are able to track the status, speed, and movement of machines and their performance and also receive alerts on issues that may require service by a qualified technician to improve uptime and overall effectiveness of the vehicle.

IoT-based Fleet Intelligence Innovation
Speed to market is precious for DRVR, a rapidly growing start-up company. With a business model dependent on reliable mobile data, managers were spending their lives trying to negotiate data roaming deals with mobile network operators in different countries. And, even then, service quality was a constant concern.

Vehicle Fleet Analytics
Organizations frequently implement a maintenance strategy for their fleets of vehicles using a combination of time and usage based maintenance schedules. While effective as a whole, time and usage based schedules do not take into account driving patterns, environmental factors, and sensors currently deployed within the vehicle measuring crank voltage, ignition voltage, and acceleration, all of which have a significant influence on the overall health of the vehicle. In a typical fleet, a large percentage of road calls are related to electrical failure, with battery failure being a common cause. Battery failures result in unmet service agreement levels and costly re-adjustment of scheduled to provide replacement vehicles. To reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, the transportation logistics company was interested in a trial of C3 Vehicle Fleet Analytics.
