关于客户
CTOS Data Systems, established in 1990, is Malaysia's leading credit reporting agency. It empowers individuals and businesses by providing access to crucial credit information, facilitating credit extensions. CTOS offers a comprehensive portfolio of credit risk management solutions and services, widely used by Malaysia's banking and financial institutions, insurance and telecommunication companies, large corporations, SMEs, legal firms, and statutory bodies. The agency maintains an extensive database of credit information for over 21 million individuals and 2.3 million companies in Malaysia. Recently, CTOS launched new consumer services, allowing individuals to access their credit reports and scores, along with ongoing fraud protection and credit monitoring services. CTOS aims to become a significant regional player in the digital and credit reporting industry, expanding its geographic coverage through acquisitions in Thailand and the Philippines.
挑战
CTOS faced a complex security landscape due to the diversification of geographies, services, and customers, along with new compliance obligations. The company needed to securely store and provide access to sensitive information for an increasing number of customers. Additionally, CTOS expanded its geographic coverage by acquiring companies in Thailand and the Philippines. The introduction of the Risk Management in Technology (RMiT) policy by Bank Negara Malaysia required CTOS to comply with stricter cybersecurity requirements. The management of legacy antivirus solutions was challenging, as the agents were difficult to update and required ongoing maintenance. CTOS needed a solution to address these challenges and ensure compliance with the RMiT policy.
解决方案
CTOS implemented the CrowdStrike Falcon Enterprise breach prevention bundle, including Falcon Prevent NGAV and Falcon Insight EDR, to achieve complete visibility and control of endpoints. The rollout covered 750 devices, reducing administrative overheads and supporting the launch of new products and services. The cloud-native Falcon platform provided 100% coverage of users' laptops, ensuring maximum protection. CTOS systems administrators gained complete visibility and control over every file and program, preventing potential harm and safeguarding against third-party applications that could compromise security. The Falcon OverWatch managed hunting service offered 24/7/365 proactive threat detection, combining rich telemetry data with expert analysis to stop hidden advanced attacks. Quarterly business reviews with CrowdStrike provided updates, advice, and guidance on best practices for using Falcon tools, helping CTOS meet industry compliance obligations and support international expansion.

Real-time In-vehicle Monitoring
The telematic solution provides this vital premium-adjusting information. The solution also helps detect and deter vehicle or trailer theft – as soon as a theft occurs, monitoring personnel can alert the appropriate authorities, providing an exact location.“With more and more insurance companies and major fleet operators interested in monitoring driver behaviour on the grounds of road safety, efficient logistics and costs, the market for this type of device and associated e-business services is growing rapidly within Italy and the rest of Europe,” says Franco.“The insurance companies are especially interested in the pay-per-use and pay-as-you-drive applications while other organisations employ the technology for road user charging.”“One million vehicles in Italy currently carry such devices and forecasts indicate that the European market will increase tenfold by 2014.However, for our technology to work effectively, we needed a highly reliable wireless data network to carry the information between the vehicles and monitoring stations.”

Vodafone Hosted On AWS
Vodafone found that traffic for the applications peak during the four-month period when the international cricket season is at its height in Australia. During the 2011/2012 cricket season, 700,000 consumers downloaded the Cricket Live Australia application. Vodafone needed to be able to meet customer demand, but didn’t want to invest in additional resources that would be underutilized during cricket’s off-season.
