关于客户
Elgen Manufacturing is a successful HVAC contractor manufacturing company based in New Jersey. The company is a leader in contract logistics and distribution. Christian Mannino, a key member of the Elgen team, has extensive knowledge about the features needed in a Transportation Management System (TMS) to run the business effectively. Prior to working with FreightPOP, Mannino and the Elgen team faced significant challenges with their existing TMS, which provided a rudimentary solution at best. The team was in dire need of a more efficient and user-friendly TMS solution.
挑战
Elgen Manufacturing, a successful HVAC contractor manufacturing company in New Jersey, was struggling with their existing transportation management software. The software was clunky and limiting, making it difficult for the team to add or remove carrier partners. This lack of customization capabilities made it challenging for the team to view and compare carriers, transit times, and rates. As a result, Elgen was potentially losing money due to their TMS’s inability to effectively add carriers. The manufacturer was also missing out on forging relationships with new carriers, simply because their TMS made it so difficult to add these carriers to the platform.
解决方案
To resolve their challenges, Mannino and the Elgen team sought a new TMS solution that would provide key capabilities they needed. These included a streamlined user interface, the ability to granularly control carrier partners, support for all types of shipping, robust reporting capabilities, flexibility to add new features and functionality, and responsive customer service. They found their ideal TMS in FreightPOP. FreightPOP’s TMS supports users like Mannino, allowing them to add, remove, or adjust as many carrier partners as they want. This enables the Elgen team to easily compare the rates and shipping times of any and all carrier partners within a single, streamlined window.

Vehicle Fleet Analytics
Organizations frequently implement a maintenance strategy for their fleets of vehicles using a combination of time and usage based maintenance schedules. While effective as a whole, time and usage based schedules do not take into account driving patterns, environmental factors, and sensors currently deployed within the vehicle measuring crank voltage, ignition voltage, and acceleration, all of which have a significant influence on the overall health of the vehicle. In a typical fleet, a large percentage of road calls are related to electrical failure, with battery failure being a common cause. Battery failures result in unmet service agreement levels and costly re-adjustment of scheduled to provide replacement vehicles. To reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, the transportation logistics company was interested in a trial of C3 Vehicle Fleet Analytics.
