The team participated in a four-day training course at IronCAD distributor Solidmarkana's offices in Stockholm, Sweden, which enabled them to fully utilize the software's features. With IRONCAD, Karling Racing was able to design all critical components of the motorcycle, including the power unit, wheel and brake mountings, front fork brackets, body mountings, fuel system, and clutch management. The software's flexibility allowed them to create a self-supporting powertrain without a chassis, addressing the alignment issues that plagued previous designs. Additionally, IRONCAD facilitated the design of a high-performance piston, enabling precise measurements of the dome volume and compression ratio, as well as accurate valve clearances. This comprehensive design approach ensured optimal engine performance and reliability.
