The solution involved the deployment of OpenStack, an open-source cloud computing platform, to create a digital infrastructure for the French government's Interior Ministry. Osones, a team of cloud experts, was engaged to transfer knowledge, advocate best practices, and assist in the deployment of OpenStack. The platform was built to host applications such as ASILE for processing asylum requests and ET GOA for managing the driver's license test. The implementation aimed to provide a secure, robust, and efficient cloud environment that supports agile development and continuous delivery. The Ministry plans to expand the platform to other administrations and migrate 150 applications over the next three to five years.
