关于客户
REY Logistics is a Pennsylvania-based truckload transportation logistics company that hauls loads to the East Coast and Northeast. The company serves the truckload transportation needs of top shippers in America, moving goods and supplies to supermarket shelves, manufacturing production lines, and home-improvement stores. Their services play a crucial role in improving the daily lives of people. Like many logistics companies, they rely on fleet management technology to track their trucks and trailers while ensuring their drivers remain compliant and safe on the roads.
挑战
REY Logistics, a truckload transportation logistics company, initially used KeepTruckin for fleet management but decided to switch to another provider in an attempt to cut costs. However, the new provider's system was plagued with technical difficulties, including issues with merging with their PCS system and frequent system shutdowns, especially in areas with poor connectivity. The system also had problems with automatic triggers for drive times, often misclassifying drivers' statuses. This led to a significant amount of time wasted on addressing these issues and dealing with driver complaints, which negatively impacted the company's operations and bottom line.
解决方案
After experiencing several technical difficulties and a high volume of complaints from their drivers and safety managers with their new provider, REY Logistics decided to switch back to KeepTruckin for their fleet management needs. The transition back to KeepTruckin resulted in less time spent on the phones and fielding complaints. The company's coordination manager, Ryan Bennett, who has a background as a driver, prioritized smoothing out general driver unhappiness and making changes that would make their lives easier. The switch back to KeepTruckin resulted in a quieter back-office, with fewer complaints and issues to address.

IoT-based Fleet Intelligence Innovation
Speed to market is precious for DRVR, a rapidly growing start-up company. With a business model dependent on reliable mobile data, managers were spending their lives trying to negotiate data roaming deals with mobile network operators in different countries. And, even then, service quality was a constant concern.

Vehicle Fleet Analytics
Organizations frequently implement a maintenance strategy for their fleets of vehicles using a combination of time and usage based maintenance schedules. While effective as a whole, time and usage based schedules do not take into account driving patterns, environmental factors, and sensors currently deployed within the vehicle measuring crank voltage, ignition voltage, and acceleration, all of which have a significant influence on the overall health of the vehicle. In a typical fleet, a large percentage of road calls are related to electrical failure, with battery failure being a common cause. Battery failures result in unmet service agreement levels and costly re-adjustment of scheduled to provide replacement vehicles. To reduce the impact of unplanned maintenance, the transportation logistics company was interested in a trial of C3 Vehicle Fleet Analytics.
