关于客户
Sodexo Group is a world leader in providing services that improve Quality of Life. Since its founding in 1966, the company has grown significantly in the Asia-Pacific region, necessitating the expansion of its APAC office to accommodate both regional and local employees. One of Sodexo’s diversity goals is to increase women in senior leadership to 40% by 2025, and the new office needs to reflect the company’s progressive work culture. With diversity in mind, Sodexo encourages flexibility to work remotely and personalized work-life balance arrangements. The office also needs to support a myriad of working styles such as hotdesking and flexible configuration with both social spaces and focus areas.
挑战
Sodexo, a world leader in providing services that improve Quality of Life, needed to expand its APAC office to accommodate more than 200 employees. The new office needed to reflect the company’s progressive work culture, supporting a myriad of working styles such as hotdesking and flexible configuration with both social spaces and focus areas. However, the old office had no visibility on energy consumption levels. The challenge was for Sodexo to achieve workplace sustainability by optimizing energy savings without compromising employee comfort levels. They needed a reliable partner who could deliver a cutting-edge facilities management solution, centered around the importance of sustainability and wellbeing of its people.
解决方案
In September 2018, Sodexo entered into a partnership with Schneider Electric to revamp Sodexo’s APAC office. Within a short five-month period, the Sodexo office was fitted with a comprehensive suite of smart technologies ready for operations by January 2019. The project involved the deployment of Schneider Electric’s Building Management System and Building Advisor. These solutions target energy management, comfort management, and lifecycle service, all achieved through real-time data analytics. Linking up more than 200 sensors, Sodexo’s office is equipped to provide intelligent insights, drive automated actions and send alerts to improve both efficiency and comfort. For example, VOC sensors trigger smart cleaning and allow for more efficient deployment of labor resources. The Workplace Advisor occupancy sensors monitor whether certain areas in the office are being used, to facilitate planning and configuration of desks.

Engine Informática offers SAP software as a service with IBM
Engine Informática, a Brazil-based company specializing in the implementation of SAP ERP solutions, identified a gap in the market for small and medium-sized companies. The company realized that the fixed infrastructure investment needed to run SAP 24/7, such as data centers, hardware, and support, meant that the per-user cost could be perceived as too high for smaller companies. The challenge was to reduce or eliminate the capital expenditures and implementation costs as much as possible to help reduce the barriers to entry for these smaller companies.

Wittmann EDV-Systeme launches IT monitoring services
Small and medium-sized businesses often lack the know-how and resources required for thorough IT system monitoring. Wittmann EDV-Systeme wanted to launch a solution to plug the gap – enabling it to improve its own competitiveness and that of its customers. IT landscapes are becoming ever more complex and outsourcing is gaining popularity, IT systems must nonetheless remain easy-to-use and extremely reliable at all times. Automated, round-the-clock system monitoring therefore represents an immensely valuable proposition for companies: downtime for business-critical applications can be avoided, and IT systems remain available at all times.

IBM social business software connects and empowers employees for competitive advantage
Superior Group, a company providing workforce productivity solutions, found that its employees worldwide felt disconnected from headquarters, regional offices and each other due to outdated internal communication and collaboration tools. The company's intranet had become a top-down affair with little staff involvement, and employees lacked effective tools for anywhere/anytime communications. Those working remotely had limited access to co-workers and company apps. The main method of collaboration was inefficient email, challenging IT staff to manage a growing store of attachments. These factors inhibited the company from achieving its productivity goals.
