The company recently enhanced its capabilities by acquiring Wyless Inc., a move that brought in additional platform expertise and deepened its IoT offerings. KORE Wireless serves a diverse range of customers, including those in Fleet Management, providing them with seamless connectivity solutions for cross-country trips. The company aims to offer a single source of connectivity, eliminating the need for customers to manage multiple carrier networks.
挑战
KORE Wireless faced significant challenges in consolidating systems and platforms following its acquisition of Wyless Inc. The primary issues were dealing with disconnected and duplicate customer data across multiple sources. The IT and architecture teams were tasked with migrating customer data from six different systems, including KORE and Wyless device management platforms, into a single platform, Salesforce.com. The goal was to achieve a complete view of customers to better serve them across products, platforms, and connectivity services. This was particularly important for providing continuous connectivity for services like Fleet Management, which required seamless integration of multiple carrier networks.
解决方案
To address the integration challenges, KORE Wireless chose SnapLogic as its Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) due to its speed and agility. The decision was influenced by previous positive experiences with SnapLogic at Wyless, where it was found to be efficient and user-friendly. SnapLogic's Cloudplex and Groundplex were utilized to connect all platforms, pull in relevant customer data, and standardize it in Salesforce.com. This integration eliminated data duplication and improved visibility into customer connectivity needs. Additionally, the IT team connected three different ERP systems, including NetSuite, Sage 300 ERP, and Microsoft Great Plains, into Salesforce.com. This allowed the finance department to access accurate financial reports and billing information, further streamlining operations.
