关于客户
Thayer Distribution is a technology-driven redistributor that acts as a bridge between snack manufacturers and wholesale distributors. Founded in 1978 by Argentinian immigrants Juan and Maria Gallicchio, the company has grown from a small candy-selling operation into a full-fledged distribution company serving nearly 1,000 customers across 14 states in the United States. Thayer Distribution is known for its lean operations and adoption of cutting-edge technologies to enhance its supply chain efficiency and profitability. The company is now led by the second generation of the Gallicchio family, who are eager to propel the business into its next phase of growth.
挑战
Thayer Distribution faced significant challenges with its data integration processes, which were manual, code-heavy, and time-consuming. These inefficiencies were eating into the company's profits and hindering its growth potential. The company had previously attempted to solve these issues by purchasing an integration solution, but it failed to deliver the desired results. As a result, Thayer was at an impasse, needing a more effective solution to streamline its data management processes and support its growth ambitions.
解决方案
To address its data integration challenges, Thayer Distribution adopted the SnapLogic Intelligent Integration Platform. This platform offered a simple yet powerful solution with a visual drag-and-drop interface and pre-built connectors, known as Snaps, which significantly improved the efficiency of assembling data pipelines. Additionally, the platform's machine learning features, collectively known as Iris AI, further accelerated the integration process. The self-service nature of SnapLogic allowed Thayer to replicate data 10 times faster than before, and the ability to build and reuse data pipelines increased productivity by several orders of magnitude. This solution not only resolved Thayer's immediate data management issues but also provided a foundation for future growth and operational efficiency.

Improving Vending Machine Profitability with the Internet of Things (IoT)
The vending industry is undergoing a sea change, taking advantage of new technologies to go beyond just delivering snacks to creating a new retail location. Intelligent vending machines can be found in many public locations as well as company facilities, selling different types of goods and services, including even computer accessories, gold bars, tickets, and office supplies. With increasing sophistication, they may also provide time- and location-based data pertaining to sales, inventory, and customer preferences. But at the end of the day, vending machine operators know greater profitability is driven by higher sales and lower operating costs.

Revolutionizing Rodent Control
From pet- and child-safe traps, to touch-free and live-catch rodent control solutions, Victor continues to stay committed to producing superior products that meet the varying needs of today’s pest control professionals. And, with a long standing history supporting customers in the food processing, service, and retail settings, Victor knew that strict regulations were costing organizations thousands of dollars in excess overhead trying to manage their rodent-control solutions. Trap inspections in these environments are often difficult and time consuming, requiring personnel to manually check a trap’s status multiple times per day, amounting to over six hours of manual labor. Victor is looking for an innovative way to increase operational efficiencies with the use of technology.
