关于客户
Dieseko Corporation is a Netherlands-based company that is a worldwide leader in the development and manufacturing of hydraulic vibratory equipment for the foundation industry. The company specializes in vibratory hammers, power packs, piling and drilling rigs, impact hammers, pressing machines, submersible dredging pumps, and more. The equipment manufactured by Dieseko is used in the building of windmill parks, offshore drilling and wind platforms, canal bank protection systems, port quays, and viaducts on major roads. The company is growing rapidly and has recently merged with two other companies. It continues to acquire other companies and is looking to expand its network.
挑战
Dieseko Corporation, a Netherlands-based company specializing in the development and manufacturing of hydraulic vibratory equipment, was facing challenges with its existing data center. The company was growing rapidly, and the existing data center was unable to keep up with the increasing amount of data being produced. The existing system was three years old, and the data center couldn't expand to support the amount of data being produced. They were quickly running out of storage. The previous system employed Nimble for storage, along with SSD memory to improve performance. Other pieces of Dieseko’s infrastructure, like network switches, also needed an upgrade. The company needed a solution that would not only address these issues but also simplify the data center and provide an easy-to-install system.
解决方案
Dieseko Corporation chose SimpliVity hyperconverged infrastructure as the solution to their challenges. The SimpliVity system was chosen because it is a newer technology with newer chips and memory. The company replaced two old boxes with one SimpliVity box, simplifying installation and making maintenance much faster. The SimpliVity system fit easily into their environment and will be able to integrate with other new systems. The company also liked that SimpliVity would allow for growth, such as if Dieseko adds a ROBO location or expands its network. Dieseko runs all its 100% virtualized applications on SimpliVity OmniCube, including the company’s ERP system–Microsoft Dynamics AX–and SolidEdge for 3D drawing.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
