关于客户
Summit Supply is a family-owned and operated direct importer of high-quality rubber tracks, undercarriage wear parts, rubber track pads, and flatproof solid tires for equipment. The company ships all over the United States from six warehouses located in New Jersey, Washington, Georgia, Illinois, Texas, and California. Since its inception in 1982, Summit Supply has emphasized fast delivery and availability of their products and boasts the largest in-stock inventory in North America. To achieve this mission, Summit Supply continuously works to improve its logistics operations.
挑战
Summit Supply, a family-owned direct importer of high-quality rubber tracks, undercarriage wear parts, rubber track pads, and flatproof solid tires for equipment, was facing a challenge with their manual order creation process. The process was time-consuming and prone to errors as it relied on team members entering orders one-by-one into different carrier websites. The objective was to automate the order creation process to save time, avoid human error, and operate in a centralized transportation management system.
解决方案
Summit Supply implemented an integration between NetSuite and Kuebix to automatically allow order information to flow from their ERP system to Kuebix TMS. This integration eliminated the need for rekeying line items and ensured 100% order accuracy by avoiding human error. The company started using Kuebix TMS in 2017 and expanded its use by connecting their ERP functionality with Kuebix TMS through an integration with NetSuite in 2018. The integration was up and running in about eight weeks. With Kuebix, Summit Supply ensures that every order is shipped with the quickest or least expensive option to maximize savings and service.

Predictive Maintenance for Industrial Chillers
For global leaders in the industrial chiller manufacturing, reliability of the entire production process is of the utmost importance. Chillers are refrigeration systems that produce ice water to provide cooling for a process or industrial application. One of those leaders sought a way to respond to asset performance issues, even before they occur. The intelligence to guarantee maximum reliability of cooling devices is embedded (pre-alarming). A pre-alarming phase means that the cooling device still works, but symptoms may appear, telling manufacturers that a failure is likely to occur in the near future. Chillers who are not internet connected at that moment, provide little insight in this pre-alarming phase.
